Today, we’re rolling out the new Tasklet experience to all customers. It brings your agents, their work, and the resources they rely on within easy reach, and makes it easier to see what’s happening across your team.

Since the beginning of Tasklet, we’ve been building agents that get real work done in real businesses. We’ve learned from customers using Tasklet on their own, with a small team, and across an entire company. Those conversations continue to shape what we build and how Tasklet works.

As agents have become more capable, customers have trusted them with more: more work, more context, more connections, and more responsibility. The new design gives all of that a clearer home.

A Clearer Way to Work with Agents

We’ve heard from all of you that you want agents to be persistent workers, not just a conversation. You want each agent to have a role, instructions, knowledge, connections, permissions, and automations. Sometimes you want the agent to help with the task in front of you, but other times you want it to return to work you started earlier, or to run recurring or event-driven work while you sleep.

The new Tasklet experience is organized around that idea: your team equips agents and works with them over time, and the agents get smarter and more capable with usage.

We are therefore changing the names of key features in our product to better align with this vision:

• Workspaces are now Agents. Each Agent is a unique, persistent AI personality with its own instructions, knowledge, connections, permissions, teammates, and automations.
• Conversations with an Agent are now Threads.
• Triggers are now Automations.

Everything an Agent Needs, in One Place

Each agent now has a page that brings together everything it works with. Knowledge holds the files and context it draws on. Connections give it access to the tools it can use. Automations contain the recurring and event-driven work it runs on its own. Usage helps your team understand activity and manage spending.

Creating an agent begins with a short guided flow: define its role, describe the work you want it to do, choose the connections it needs, and give it starting instructions. You can arrange agents in the order that makes sense for your team and invite teammates when you’re ready to collaborate.

A Thread for Every Piece of Work

Agents are designed to have multiple threads for different projects and conversations. New threads start preloaded with their agent’s instructions, connections, knowledge, and automations, so you don’t need to re-explain yourself each time you start a new task.

For example, you can create a marketing agent once, and then create a new thread for each launch, another thread to review last quarter’s campaigns, another to draft a customer email, and so on.

You can quickly create a new thread for the work in front of you, or return to previous threads whenever you need them. The result is a focused place for each piece of work — without having to set up another agent or crowd one long conversation with unrelated tasks.

See Work Moving Across Your Team

The new design also makes it easier to see what your team and their agents are doing. All of your agents are now shown in the left-hand rail so you can quickly switch between different types of work.

Live indicators show when an agent is working. Unread dots point you to new results. Lightning bolts identify agents running automations. At a glance, you can see what’s in progress, what’s running on its own, and what came back while you were away.

Thoughtful Improvements Throughout

We’ve improved the rest of the Tasklet experience, too. Dictation is faster and more accurate. The model picker makes the available options clearer. Menus are more consistent throughout the product.

Together, these changes make Tasklet easier to navigate and give your team more room to grow.

Built for What Comes Next

We believe the teams that get the most from AI will organize their work around persistent agents. They’ll equip each agent with the context and tools it needs, then work with it over time instead of starting from scratch with every task. This new design better supports that way of working and gives us a stronger foundation for agents that become more useful the longer you work with them.
