Changelog

A timeline of frequent improvements, fixes, and new features.

Follow along

Smart delegation Experimental Preview

Agents can delegate work to subagents they create on the fly — no pre-configuration — and you can pick the model each subagent runs. Opt in per agent under Experiments.

Workspace member roles

Workspaces now have member roles with enforced access rules, organization admins can manage roles, and invites can target a specific workspace.

Claude Fable 5

Claude Fable 5 is available in the model picker.

GitHub integration upgrades

Agents can now search code across your repositories and see the list of changed files on any pull request.

Claude Sonnet 5

Claude Sonnet 5 is available in the model picker.

Shared connections Experimental Preview

Share an integration connection with a workspace or your whole organization, with per-tool permission controls and a new organization connections page.

Simpler upgrades, bigger credit purchases

A streamlined upgrade flow replaces the pricing page, and self-serve credit purchases now go up to $10,000.

Scripted tool calling Experimental Preview

Agents can write TypeScript that calls their tools programmatically inside the sandbox — loops, batching, and data processing without round-trips. Opt in per agent.

Organization knowledge

Knowledge can now live at the organization level, visible to everyone in it — shared context that spans all of your workspaces.

Computer Use retired

The legacy Computer Use VM was retired on June 21 in favor of the agent browser, which is faster and needs no setup.

Service account auth for Direct APIs

Direct API integrations can now authenticate with service accounts, including RFC 7523 JWT-bearer and self-signed JWTs.

Faster parallel tool calls

When an agent calls several tools at once, the calls now execute concurrently instead of one at a time.

Organization join requests

Teammates with a matching company domain can discover your organization and request to join. Admins control discoverability and approve requests.

Markdown comments Experimental Preview

Leave anchored comments directly on a markdown preview — comments stay attached through edits and rewrites. Enable under Experiments.

Richer MCP tool output

MCP tools that return audio, resource, and resource-link results now work end-to-end.
