Delegate to Tasklet agents from Claude, ChatGPT, and more
by Jonny Dimond
You can already delegate work to your Tasklet agents from text, email, and Slack. Now, with Tasklet MCP, you can do it from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, and other AI apps too.
No matter where you hand it off, the same agent picks it up and owns the work, with all the connections, skills, and automations you’ve set up in Tasklet.
One agent, every place you work
Your Tasklet agents are powerful AI teammates that take on real work for your business. But you don’t always think of the next task while you’re working in Tasklet. It might come up in the middle of a chat with Claude or ChatGPT.
Now you can hand it off right where you are, with the context from your conversation. Connect Tasklet MCP once. No copying. No re-explaining.
From a chat to your agent
You might already spend time in ChatGPT or Claude, brainstorming and thinking through ideas. But when it’s time to get the work done, you need an agent that’s connected to your tools, follows your team’s way of doing things, and owns the job until it’s finished. That’s your Tasklet agent.
Here’s how teams are putting Tasklet MCP to work:
- Hand off work directly from ChatGPT or Claude. When inspiration hits, hand it straight to your Tasklet agent. It works around the clock and can keep things running on its own with automations. Your idea doesn’t just get talked through. It gets done.
- Bring your skills with you. Already built skills in Claude Code or Codex? You don’t need to rebuild them one by one. Just ask: “Copy my skills to my Ops agent in Tasklet.” From then on, your agent can use them in everything it does, and so can anyone you share the agent with.
- Turn an idea into a team project. You’ve thought through a campaign idea in ChatGPT. You could say: “Send this to our Marketing agent in Tasklet. Draft a storyboard and social concepts, and add it to the agenda for our next marketing meeting.” Everyone using the shared agent can see it and pick it up from there.
You stay in control
When you connect an AI app to Tasklet MCP, you choose exactly which agents it can use. Everything else stays the same: the app works through your agent’s existing connections and permissions, anything that needs approval still comes to you in Tasklet, and the work runs on your Tasklet credits.
You can disconnect an app anytime in Settings → Connections, under Use Tasklet in other apps.
How to set up Tasklet MCP
Tasklet MCP works with AI apps that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. For more detail, see the setup guide.
- Copy the MCP server URL. It’s
https://api.tasklet.ai/mcp. - Add it to your AI app as a custom connector or custom MCP server. If it asks, choose Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Here’s how in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex.
- Sign in and choose your agents. Your app will ask you to sign in to Tasklet. Choose which agents it can use, and select Connect.
- Give it a real task. Ask your AI app, “Which Tasklet agents can you use?” Then hand one of them something to work on.
Your agents already know your tools and how your team works. With Tasklet MCP, you can hand them work the moment you think of it, wherever you’re working. Give it a try, and let me know what you think at jonny@tasklet.ai.
