Tasklet

Tasklet for Slack

[Feature is in private preview during Slack Marketplace review]

Bring a Tasklet agent into Slack to ask questions and get work done in direct messages or channels. You can also add your Slack Channels connection to an agent to let it use Slack’s official MCP tools, such as searching messages and taking actions in Slack.

Add an agent to Slack

  1. In Tasklet, open the agent you want to use and select Connections.
  2. Under Channels, select Add channel, then Slack.
  3. Select Connect Slack, then Continue to Slack Channels. Complete Slack’s authorization flow for the workspace you want to use.
  4. Select your Slack connection, choose a name for the agent’s Slack app, and select Create app. If you already have a Slack connection, you can select it without connecting again.
  5. In Slack, open the new app and send it a direct message, or invite it to a channel and mention it to start a conversation.

Let an agent use Slack tools

Creating the Slack app does not automatically add the underlying Slack Channels connection to your agent. To enable the official Slack MCP tools, open the agent’s Connections tab, select Add connection, and add your existing Slack Channels connection. Choose which tools the agent can use.

Tasklet uses AI. Review its responses and actions; AI output can be inaccurate.
