Turn your reMarkable into a personal morning paper

Your agent pulls your to-dos, today's meetings, and an article worth reading into one clean page you can write on, and puts it on your reMarkable before you wake up.

How it works

Set it up in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Start with the prompt

Open it in Tasklet, or copy it into a new chat.

    Starter prompt
Turn my reMarkable into a personalized morning paper. Check what's connected and help me connect what you need. Sign in to my reMarkable in a browser, and ask me to save the login or connect my 1Password so you can get back in if I'm logged out. Then ask me: * Where I keep my to-dos and projects * Which reMarkable folder to use * What time I want my paper ready * What I want to stay current on, like topics, news sites, or newsletters I already get Make one PDF I can write on: * Page 1, my day: today's meetings at the top, my top 3 focuses, the rest of my open to-dos with boxes to check off, and space for notes. * Pages 2–4, my paper: the best 2–3 articles or newsletter stories for me today, one per page, each with the headline, source, a short summary, why it matters to me, and room in the margins for notes. Each morning, before building the paper, figure out what I got done: * Read yesterday's paper on my reMarkable. Anything I crossed off is done. Turn my handwritten notes into new to-dos or reminders. * Check my email, Slack, calendar, and other connected tools for anything I've already handled, like replying to someone, sending a deliverable, or archiving the message. Count those as done too. * Leave finished items off today's paper. Name each file with the date, like "10/30/26 Morning Paper." Add it to my folder and show me what it looks like. Once I like it, set it up to run every weekday at that time.
  2. Step 2

Connect your reMarkable and your tools

Your agent signs in to your reMarkable in its own browser. Save the login to your agent, or connect 1Password, so it stays connected. Then connect your calendar and wherever your to-dos live, and tell it the topics, news sites, and newsletters you want to follow.

Plus thousands more apps, and anything with an API or MCP server.

  3. Step 3

    Get your paper every morning

Check the first paper and ask for changes until it looks right. Then your agent adds a new one to your folder every weekday at the time you pick, with what you finished already cleared off, your day on page one, and the stories worth reading after it, so you can start the day with a pen instead of a screen.

Add-ons

Make it do more

Once it’s working, paste any of these into the same thread.

  • Prep me for meetings

“For each meeting today, add a prep page after page 1 with who's attending, our last few emails, and anything I owe them.”

  • Friday week in review

“On Fridays, add a page with what I finished this week, what slipped, and my top 3 for next week.”

  • Add a weekend edition

“On Saturdays, make a slower paper with highlights from my week, a few questions to reflect on, a long read I'd enjoy, my favorite comic strip, and one idea for a fun weekend.”

  • Keep my notebook tidy

“Before you add today's paper, move yesterday's to an Archive folder on my reMarkable.”

Common questions

How does Tasklet connect to my reMarkable?

Your agent uses a browser to work in your reMarkable account, just like you would. Save your login to your agent, or connect 1Password, and it can sign itself back in if it ever gets logged out. Learn about saved logins

Do I need a reMarkable Connect subscription?

No. Your agent adds a new paper to your reMarkable each morning, and that works without a subscription.

Will it change anything else on my reMarkable?

No. It reads yesterday’s paper to see what you finished, and only adds your new paper to the folder you choose. If you want it to do more, like organize folders or archive old pages, it can do anything you could do in your reMarkable account online, but only with your permission.

Where do the stories come from?

From the topics, news sites, and newsletters you tell your agent about. It works best with open sites and newsletters you already subscribe to, which it can read right from your inbox. You can ask it to change sources anytime.

Where does my to-do list come from?

Anywhere you keep one, like Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Airtable, or a spreadsheet. You can also have your agent build the list each morning from your email, Slack, and calendar.

Does it work with Kindle Scribe, Boox, or Supernote?

Yes. For a Kindle Scribe, your agent emails your paper to your Send to Kindle address, so it never needs to sign in. For Boox or Supernote, it can upload your paper on their websites, just like it does with reMarkable, or save it to a cloud folder your device syncs with. Just tell it which notebook you use.

Is it safe to save my reMarkable login to Tasklet?

Yes. You enter your password in a secure form, never in the chat, and it never reaches the AI model. Saved logins are encrypted, and Tasklet is SOC 2 Type II compliant. If you connect 1Password instead, your agent only uses logins from the vaults you choose, and you keep managing them in 1Password. Visit our Trust Center for details.

How much does it cost?

You can try it free, with no payment required. To keep it running every morning, paid plans start at $25 a month. Cost depends on how many tools it checks and which AI model you use. See pricing

First, let’s set up a connection and get Tasklet logged in to my reMarkable. “Open up a browser and get logged in to my reMarkable.”

So now I’ve got the option to either just sign in once myself, or I can save it to the agent. Let’s do that. That way I don’t have to log in each time. If something happens and I get logged out, the agent can get me logged back in. Save and sign in.

I still think it’s so cool that I can just watch my agent signing into things.

Okay, now you can see my agent is logged in to reMarkable here. I’ve got a to-do list in Notion, so I’m going to tell my agent to create a page in my reMarkable with the to-do list items from Notion, and I’m going to have it put it right here in this folder.

Okay, so it shows me here what it looks like, and it also just showed up on my reMarkable. So if I open this up, now I’ve got my to-dos from Notion. I can mark stuff off, line through it, and make notes down here, whatever I want.

The cool thing is we did this once. Now I can set this up on a daily basis and say, “Actually, connect to my email, my Slack, and any other project management software. Pull in all these items, look at my calendar, help me get organized, and have it on my reMarkable first thing in the morning each day.” I actually do this, and it’s super helpful. That way I’m not always tied to all these different screens and apps. I can literally just open up my reMarkable, it’s got a list of everything, and I can write it off.

Sometimes it just feels good to write, and so this is one of the ways I love keeping track of what’s on my plate and what’s going on for the day, and Tasklet handles it before I wake up in the morning.

Let’s say I work in logistics and I want to be up to date on what’s happening in the industry. I can also ask my agent to upload the most recent article relevant to what I’m dealing with right now. “Find the most recent article about shipping and freight trends from Supply Chain Dive, and put the best article you can find that’s relevant for me in the same folder so I can read it before some of my calls.”

All right, so this just uploaded another article here, “Extended Peak Season Drives.” Now I have an article right here that I can read on my reMarkable.

Again, this is cool as a one-time example, but there’s a lot of power when you set it up so on a daily basis you’ve got all the relevant things you need. It’s almost like having a digital newspaper that’s personalized to you, with your to-do list, your calendar, relevant articles, anything you want to customize it with. Instead of all the noise from your inbox and your phone, I personally really enjoy having it on a digital notebook that doesn’t connect to everything. I can just look here, stay focused, and be present with whatever I choose to put on my plate for that day.
